Sports: I love sports in generaly. The sports that I like the most are Rugby and Football. I am always training to improve, I think that every spor is an issue of trining, if you train hard, you can reach everything. I think that Rugby, that is my favourite sport before football, can represent my way of life, becaue it is a sport that represent union and many other values. I love Rugby, and I like Football very much. So, summarising, I say that sports represent my life in some way because I do sports every day.

                   

Perseverance: this is other word that I think that is a representative aspect of my life. For example, when I am not good in something or I am weak in some sport, for example, I train until I improve in this one. Also, when I do something wrong, I do this until it is find. This aspect is also related to sport, because when I am getting worse doing something, I train until I do it well, because I think that if you train, you can always improve.




Proactive: I think that this is other word that represent my identity. I am very hiperactive, generaly I'm mooving and doing things. Sometimes, only sometimes, I am quiet in some place. For example in the school, when I am not sleepy, I am very proactive. Some people say that this is because I drink too much Coca-Cola, and it is a very good reason, because it has many sugar.






Smile: this word is an important aspect of my life. I am almost always smiling, but this doesn't mean that I am always happy. I am sometimes sad like everyone, but I tend to smile, but not with intention, I smile with no reason. For example, in the school, there are someones that calle me "smiles" hahahahaha.


     


Late: this is another word that represents me. I am generaly late, sepacially in the school. I am always trying to arrive early to everywhere, but it is too difficult hahaha. One place where I'm always late is in the school. It is too difficult to me to wake up early, because I like to sleep too much.

                                       

Friendly: I think that this is another aspect that represents my identity. I am friendly, from my opinion, I and try always to be friendly. Like everyone, many times I get mad with someone, because I'm also a little temperamental hahaha. But, I am friendly and I try to be friendly, without dependence of anyone.

1. Yes, I agree with him. She has to imrpove her English. If she continues with her 'kerbstone English' she can have problems, in other words, like the Note Taker says, her English can keep her in the gutter. This means that this English that she speakes can have influences in her life in terms of works, for example. The way that a person speaks can be very important in his orher aspects of life, becvause many peple judge a person only with listening to his or her language. The way that you speak ca tell many things about you. If you don't speak correctly, you can show that you are from a lower position of the society. Also if yo don't speak properly, you can be discriminate when you are looking fr a job or in many other aspects of the life.

 

 

 

 

 

2. I think that it is possible to transform a Cockney girl into a duchess by changing her way to speak. If a gil speaks well, she can show more class, more education and she can look "more important", saying it in a colloquial way. From my opinion, it is a generous offer from the Note Taker. It can ignore the sense of identity and dignity a little, but after some time she will be happier and it will be esasier to her to develope in the society.

How did you feel when listening to Gloria’s accent?

 

I didn't feel comfortable, because I didn't understand everything she said, due to her bad pronunciation of the words and his accent. Also I think that it must be very difficult to her to communicate with th other people spaking this English.

 

Is this variation of language identifying a particular community for good or bad ?

 

This variation is identifying her community for bad, because if we hear this woman, we could think that everybody from his country speaks English like her (with a bad pronunciation of the words).

 

Is this an inferior variation of the English language?

 

I think that this is an inferior variarion of English language, just like Spanglish, Chinglish, etc. because the way that she speaks is mixed with his language, Spanish.

 

Do you usually judge people’s accents?

 

Not usually, but sometimes, when someone speakes English or Spanish badly, I try to help them if I can, so they can undesrtand more the other people or be understood. Or for example,when someone doesn't modulates, I try to help them because it is not easy to undesrtand them.
