There are many ways in which language can reflect culture.
First of all, language is used to express culture. The thing that I wanna say is that language transfer culture from generation to generation. Also, using language you can show your culture from others that don´t know anything of it, and that belong to another culture.
The relationship between the society or culture and the people is started when the man or woman is born. The majority of the societies start teaching the culture when you are a baby. So, using language, you show the baby how to respect others, or how to talk to others, because if you are not taught to interact with the others, you can say a bad word, for example, that can make the one that is talking with you put angry. So, if you are toalking with a person that is from another country, but speakes the same language that you, and you say a bad word, he or she can make to himself a bad idea of your culture, only because you said a bad word.
In another point of view, but thinking the same cuestion, sometimes language can tell us how is a culture. For example, if your culture talks very fast, another one can think that your culture or society is a little "stressed".
great :D
